DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial Returns:

  • Participate in the preparation of the annual departmental operating budget and financial plans. Monitor budget and control expenses with a focus on increased productivity.

People:

  • Manage day-to-day staffing requirements, plan and assign work, establish performance and development goals for team members. Provide mentoring, coaching and regular feedback to help manage conflict and improve team member performance.

Position Summary:

Prepares soiled linens for wash. Loads and unloads washers. Checks for stained linen. Cleans work area and maintains supplies. Inspects, folds and stores clean linens. Position Summary:

Responsible for the daily set-up of banquet rooms and pre-function areas. Must maintain a positive attitude and work well with banquet servers. Maintains cleanliness of all banquet rooms and storage closets.

Purpose of Position:

To train and market the restaurant to increase sales and customer growth while providing exceptional service.

Position Summary:

Train, plan and manage the human resources and operations of the restaurant department. Laundry Attendant (Appleton, WI)

Position Summary:

Prepares soiled linens for wash. Loads and unloads washers. Checks for stained linen. Cleans work area and maintains supplies. Inspects, folds and stores clean linens. Maintains linen levels on shelves. Fulfills linen requests from room attendants and meeting room personnel. Finishes clean linen according to the property standards. Checks equipment and keeps maintenance records on machinery. Keeps laundry room and equipment clean and organized. Will also cross train as Housekeeping Attendant.

Purpose of Position:

To provide clean and properly folded linens in a timely manner to housekeeping staff and meeting room staff for cleaning and stocking of guest and meeting rooms.

Essential Functions/Tasks:

  • Assist guests with any special needs and always make guest the 1st priority.
  • Greets every guest that is met.
  • Removes all linen from laundry chute.
  • Checks for stained linen and treats problem stains.
  • Prepares soiled linen for wash.
  • Loads and sets cycle on washer.
  • Checks wash cycles regularly for proper performance.
  • Unloads washers.
  • Loads dryers and sets cycle on dryer.
  • Checks equipment for proper functioning.
  • Unloads dryers. Fold and stacks linen on shelves as needed.
  • Inspects the quality of linens. Reports linen quality to Supervisors.
  • Keeps work area clean and neat.
  • Check chemical levels for cleaning agent and report when low to Supervisor.
  • Reports any and all injury.
  • Implements all company policies and procedures for safety and security.
  • Follows proper procedures for handling chemicals on the job.
  • Cleans lint filters in dryers on a daily basis.
  • Attends all department meetings.

  • Ability to do the job physically and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular and continual basis.
  • Pleasant personality.
  • Flexibility in scheduling, including weekends and evenings.

  • Follows all state and federal guidelines including OSHA Hazardous Communication Training.
  • Communicates with Management any problems or concerns.

Marginal Job Functions:

  • Delivery of guest-requested amenities.
  • Assist in other departments throughout the hotel.
