FOX VALLEY, WISCONSIN
EXPLORE THE FOX VALLEY
Welcome to the Fox Valley region of Wisconsin. The Fox Valley consists of several cities along the Fox River and all are unique in their own right. Appleton is the cultural heart of the Fox Valley, home to the Performing Arts Center (PAC), Trout Museum of Art, Children’s Museum, and The Mile of Music event sparked by Appleton native Cory Chisel. The Appleton area is also home to the Timber Rattlers, a Class A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers. Games do not disappoint with a theme every home game and giant sand box for kids to play in, making it a great family event. With the recent addition of the Fox Cities Exhibition Center, we will be able to continue to grow our events and meeting destination appeal.
Are you here to shop? Well, from the Fox River Mall, to boutique shops downtown, all the way to the Outlet Shoppes at Oshkosh, we are Wisconsin’s Shopping Place. Oshkosh is known as Wisconsin’s Event City, hosting over 1,000 events annually. EAA AirVenture is the world’s largest aviation event and our skies come alive every July with vintage aircraft, aerobatics, and military jets. A trip to Oshkosh wouldn’t be complete without catching one of our premier music attractions like Country USA, Rock USA, Lifest, or Waterfest. Oshkosh is now home to some amazing basketball, thanks to The Herd, the Milwaukee Buck’s G League team. There isn’t a bad seat in the new Menominee Nation Arena, so when the Herd’s away, Oshkosh still plays! —world class acts and events are booked into the arena regularly.
